Job Description
We’re recruiting a driven Sales Executive to join a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) for our Swansea based client. You’ll be responsible for generating new business, nurture relationships and sell managed IT services (think ongoing IT support, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, backup & disaster recovery, networks/Wi-Fi, and VoIP—tailored to each client’s goals).
You’ll own the end-to-end sales cycle, working closely with pre-sales and engineering to scope solutions and convert opportunities into long-term monthly recurring revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect & qualify: Identify target accounts via outreach, networking, referrals and inbound leads; build a strong pipeline.
- Discovery & solutions: Understand each client’s business needs and translate them into clear, value-led proposals.
- Present & demo: Run meetings (virtual/in-person), presentations and light demos; coordinate technical deep dives when needed.
- Full sales cycle: From first contact and proposal/SOW through to negotiation, close, and smooth handover to service delivery.
- Land & expand: Run regular account reviews to identify upsell/cross-sell (security, backup/DR, VoIP, cloud).
- Forecasting & CRM: Keep pipeline, activity and forecasts accurate; report on performance and targets.
Licences and Qualifications

Essential
- MSP or B2B tech sales experience (selling recurring services or solutions), with a track record against targets.
- Working understanding of the typical MSP service stack:
- Microsoft 365 (and basic Azure),
- Cybersecurity (e.g., multi-factor authentication and modern endpoint protection),
- Backup & Disaster Recovery,
- Networks/Wi-Fi & firewalls,
- VoIP/Teams Phone.
- Comfortable selling within an MSP environment (ticketing/monitoring/billing tools, e.g., PSA/RMM).
- Excellent communication, discovery and negotiation skills; able to build trust with non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and organised—strong pipeline discipline and follow-through.
Desirable
- Exposure to Cyber Essentials / ISO 27001 or regulated sectors (e.g., healthcare/finance).
- Familiarity with online quoting/proposal tools (e.g., PandaDoc/QuoteWerks) and standard CRMs.
- UK driving licence for local client visits.
