Job Description
We are working with a fast-growing fintech looking for a permanent Senior DevOps Engineer to join their friendly team. Please note: You will need to be eligible to work in the UK at the time of application and be able to spend 1-2 days a week at the Head Office.
The successful party will be tasked with the ongoing development, support and maintenance of the companies’ modelling solutions and APIs, for financial services clients. You will also be expected to help in further R&D in the companies’ applications, helping the brand to continue to operate on the cutting edge.
Licences and Qualifications
Experience required for the role includes at least 5+ years of experience in DevOps, particularly in Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) technology (containerised pipelines, git and build systems), Automated Testing (Cypress), Configuration management.
Strong development skills in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker for build processes and deployments. Proficiency in AWS for deploying, debugging and monitoring web services. Strong programming skills in Typescript, JavaScript, Java and other relevant languages. Comfortable working in an agile environment and familiar with Scrum and XP techniques.
Alongside excellent technical skills, you will also be comfortable in an agile environment, with strong communications skills and able to work up to Stakeholder level.
You must have a proven track record of working in a DevOps position, with testing exposure and strong development work ideally within the Financial Services sector.

- We need someone with a significant network they can call upon into which they can sell software and products and help promote and develop the brand more broadly.
- The Business Development Manager will understand potential prospects’ businesses and strategies to identify opportunities.
Senior Financial Planner
- You will need to be a highly professional Financial Adviser, meeting all requirements for certification as an adviser under SM&CR. You will need to be technically sound across all financial planning areas, but especially focusing on retirement income.
