Job Description

We are working with a fantastic fintech, who need a very experienced financial adviser to join their advice arm.

The business focuses on providing digital advice to its clients and the jobholder will be the Lead Adviser, responsible for delivering affordable retirement income advice to customers and driving the improvements of the advice policy and procedures.

You will need to be a highly professional Financial Adviser, meeting all requirements for certification as an adviser under SM&CR. You will need to be technically sound across all financial planning areas, but especially focusing on retirement income.

You will also have a strong interest and passion for technology and how it can be used to make financial advice more accessible. You will relish the opportunity to be at the forefront of digital advice.

You will be comfortable managing/communicating with C-Suite stakeholders and senior management, capable of working autonomously, and driven to improve our products and services. You will be organized and methodical with a keen eye for detail.

The jobholder will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of ongoing objectives. This will involve:

● Helping to deliver straight forward, affordable and customer-focused retirement advice.

● Adhering to compliance and operations policies and procedures at all times.

To be considered, you will be:

A Certified Financial Planner/DipPFS (R01 – R06 preferred route) as a minimum with CPD maintained from passing DipPFS to date and valid SPS.

This is not a sales role. 5+ years technical, paraplanning or advisory experience in any role considered.

● Confident with all types of pension schemes and products and pension benefits.

● Happy working independently and comfortable being part of a small team.

● Chartered status or an intention to work towards this is highly desirable.
